I spoke to an admissions specialist last week who told me that she wanted me to find scholarships for her clients, however, the majority of her clients were Chinese.
“No problem.” I said and immediately told her about the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.
The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund is a site that has 15 different Pacific Islander and Asian scholarships.
For these scholarships, you HAVE to be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity.
No, you can’t lie because they will check the U.S. Census Bureau to make sure.
You must also be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States, be a high school senior who will be enrolling in college in the Fall
AND
have at least a 2.7 GPA.
But of course, the scholarship criteria will vary based on the scholarship that you are applying to.
So if you’re looking for Asian scholarships, get your buns on over to the Asian and Pacific Island American Scholarship Fund and start filling out those scholarships!
