lower college costs up to 50% with 1 simple change

Yesterday I made a list.

No, I don’t just make lists for the heck of it. I wanted to make a list of all of the creative college costsways that I and other people that I know have used to cut college costs as much as possible so that I could share it with you.

While writing down all of these ideas, one thing stuck out way more than all of the others.

It’s something that is rarely talked about but so simple to do. And doing just this one thing could save you up to 50% on your college costs.

No, it doesn’t involve applying for scholarships… at least not this time.

However, if you need some help applying for scholarships, feel free to email me at info@DebtFreeCollegeGrad.com so that we can get you the help that you need.

All you have to do to cut your college costs by up to 50% is to become a RA.

I know you’re probably saying, Shanice, what the heck is a RA?

Well, let me break it down.

A resident advisor, or RA, is a position that you can sign up to do while in college. All resident advisors do is supervise the other students that are living in the resident halls or dorm rooms. In exchange for taking on this extra task, you will receive a room all to yourself for free. *Policies will vary based on the school.

Yes! You can say good bye and good riddance to the days of having to share your room with someone else AND having to pay the extra boarding fee on top of your tuition.

So if you are struggling with college costs and don’t want to look into scholarships, look into becoming an RA.

Do you know any other ways to reduce college costs? Let me know in the comments.

Thank you so so so so much for subscribing, liking, and commenting. I read every email and love hearing from you!
